Windows 10 & Windows 11 Compatibility
LEDEdit 2014 was designed for Windows 7 and earlier, but it runs fine on modern systems:
- Windows 10: works out of the box. If the installer is blocked, right-click the setup file and choose Run as administrator.
- Windows 11: works in most cases. If the interface looks stretched or the software will not start, right-click
LedEdit.exe→ Properties → Compatibility → check Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and apply. - Antivirus false positives: some antivirus tools flag small hardware utility software as suspicious. This is a known false positive; add the folder to your antivirus exclusions if it happens.
- Date-related errors: older LedEdit builds show a “software expired” message when the system date is far from the release period. If you see this, use the LED Edit Runner to repair the installation instantly.
